Get A Life

In the years prior to our retirement my wife and I lead a quiet life. Most of our friends had either moved away or had “been there and done that”. We felt that we were too young to spend the rest of our life in front of the “tube” and our local community had no way or apparent interest in providing opportunities for social interaction.

We needed exactly what we found at Lake Keowee!!!
A neighborhood of newcomers, all looking for opportunities to start a “new life,” to be active and meet new people.

An incredible Newcomers Club: With over 500 members to create opportunities to get involved.
You can join the Foothills Newcomers Club for 3 years and enjoy the following benefits:

  • A monthly meeting: With an interesting speaker followed by “the lunch bunch,”
  • Activity Groups: With 12 couples who will meet monthly for dinner, concerts, plays, local trips,
